Storage Administrator:
Administer and manage storage operations in a heterogeneous SAN / Blue arc NAS storage in huge environment distributed into multiple datacenters Consisting of HDS/HP and EMC arrays and Cisco, Brocade fabric. Dynamic pool creations and thin provisioning to ARE/Windows/Unix hosts and RAID configurations for OPEN Systems from HDS USPVM/VSP. Monitor the Storage Subsystems for any performance issues and perform the tuning using the HDS Tuning Manager. Monitor HNAS system thresholds. Perform switch related maintenance activities such as Module replacements. Assign the SAN Storage LUNs to Servers from Hitachi USP/USP-V/VSP/AMS to open systems and trouble shoot all storage issues related to LUNs assignment. Troubleshoot HDS/HP errors and connectivity issues with SAN fabric consists of Cisco MDS Switches working with vendors to fix or replace the hardware. May be required to relocate residence upon completion of each project.
Requires: Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems Management + three (3) years of related exp. or in the alternative Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems + five (5) years of progressive experience.
